I read the Italian translation and it was confusing at times. Like the words "daddy" and "mum" kept in English for no particular reason - I don't know if it's something from the original language but it didn't make any sense to me.
The characters definitely had a tendency to make stupid decisions, and the recurring habit of wandering in the dark looking for some bloody criminal. And no, "I have a feeling he's a nice guy" isn't an acceptable excuse.
The final was good but a bit slow at times, especially because there were HUGE sections where the protagonists reflected on things I didn't really care about.
