I loved this! So beautifully written!
Ant Decker and Robbie McGuire have known each other since they were teenagers at a hockey camp. They've always been rivals and Decker never failed to make mean comments about him.
Now, Robbie is going to play for the Vipers and Ant will be his teammate.
Their rivalry is very strong and they're not able to find a way to play together until Coach force them to share a room and get their acts together.

A thing I loved about this book is how Robbie has Ant completely wrapped around his finger: Ant is grumpy, stoic, arrogant, unattainable and yet, he can't do anything against Robbie's determination. He is the unflappable, top, who likes to dominate in the bedroom, who calls his partner with sweet girlie nicknames, but in reality, Robbie held the power since their first sexual encounter.
Ant's internal POV is funny, hilarious and reflects perfectly the way he feels around Robbie, like a hurricane hit him and left him confused and disoriented. With Robbie, Ant finds himself doing things he swore he would never do.
I wasn't expect the sweetness, honestly: Ant doesn't last long being grumpy around Robbie and I adored all the parts where he surrendered to him.

Another part that the author nailed was the coming out dilemma: the thin line between not caring about what other people believe and the need to protect themeselves and not being hurt.

The last chapter and the epilogue are absolute perfection, sweet, romantic and beautiful.
Highly recommended.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review.
