Wow this book was outstanding! Toni Aleo blew me away once again. This story brought me on a journey of heartbreak, but also a journey of love and sacrifice. Was Jace and Avery's love story perfect... Hell no, but whose is? Yes they had their ups and downs. They had pasts that occasionally got in the way, but they always found their way back to each other. Their love was strong and nothing would get in the way of that.
Avery, damn this girl is strong and inspiring. Even with the shit hand she was dealt, she made something of herself. She got up everyday, determined to make her life the best if could possibly be and it only got easier with Jace in her life.
Jace, this man is something else. He started out at this 'wannabe player' not a care in the world, boy. But he grew into a man through this book. He loved Avery something fierce and when push came to shove he stepped up and took matters into his hands and did what he had to do to support his love.
This story tore me to pieces, made me feel these deep emotions like I was going on this crazy roller coaster with these characters.
I am extremely impressed and inspired by this book and this series and can, without a doubt say that Toni Aleo is officially one of my favorite authors!! A gigantic five stars for the book and the series as a whole! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
