I loved the experience of reading this book. I loved being immersed in the story, being with the characters and the setting. This is a very atmospheric and immersive book. What felt especially magical were the scenes during plays. Something I didn't expect from this book was to sob my eyes out during the last pages?? M.L. Rio basically tore my heart out of my chest, stomped on it, threw it against the wall, lit it on fire, crushed it under a hydraulic press. And for what.
My one complaint is that I wished the relationship between Oliver and James was a little more fleshed out in the beginning and middle part of the story. But other than that I really really loved this book and it will probably become a new favorite of mine.
