Gould always gets me with these books. Something about the way he writes gets me to the end faster than most of the other things I read.
This book is another story of Cent, though both her parents are involved. Different from the previous books, though, we get a lot more of pure science-fictiony discovery and not nearly as much of the tropey fight-against-the-bad-guys. And there's no problem with that. Gould's writing is still the same, good as ever.
This series is so good for me, I need to go back and read the tie-in he did when the movie came out.
