I'm not saying this novella isn't as good as the main series. It does it's job right. It makes me interested in these characters we will see in the next book and it was really cool to see an area that wasn't our beautiful country of vampires. However, there were just times in this book that got a little repetitive or slow to me. Still, the way she describes what is happening to the people dying in town, the new god we see and the ending were some highlights for me.
