Wed Him Before You Bed Him by Sabrina Jeffries

3.0

I liked the protagonists, Charlotte especially. It's rare for me to find a young and sensible heroine in romance novels. They tend to just go with attraction and they don't usually have a specific trait/character in mind that they want for their husband (probably the reason why I really liked The Secret Mistress too). Admitedly, it kinda went downhill when the big misunderstanding happened. But they're still young, I forgave them for it.

The reacquaintance was intriguing but I felt it's a bit of an instalove. Not sure if that's because I skipped all the previous books in the series. And it kinda annoyed. me that they did again what they wrongly did before then it was resolved by a plot twist (not much of a twist either)

The first part was really lovely though.
