Be still my beating heart. Atticus and Eve have officially become my favorite K Webster characters (I guess Gabe and Hannah have moved to second place).
I said I’d finish the series and I bought every single one. I did not expect to love Atticus and Eve as much as I do. Everything about Eve makes me smile, from how innocent and naive in the ways of the “world” she is to how sure she is that she wants Atticus. And Atticus, poor Atticus, tries so hard.
The surprise at the end of this one was worth the read and I’m not even sorry that I’m okay with this. At this point in my life, who cares? As long as they aren’t hurting anyone, who GAF?
