I read this book very quickly. Does that mean it was very good, or did I have a long train ride and did I push myself to read instead of staring out of the window ‚unproductively‘?
After finishing the novel, I feel blank, but I know that it has inspired me to think about myself in old and new ways. I’ve both related to and hated the main characters, and in a way this may be the starting point for me to less abstractly think about how I want to or don’t want to relate to raising kids in a queer way.
The constant jumping back and forth between past and present didn’t work too well for me.
