The Phantom of Manhattan by Frederick Forsyth

2.0

Wow I didn't know the phantom of the opera and Oscar Hammerstein did a collab!!

This is bad–racist, ableist, convoluted, ridiculous, etc. If you are expecting an actual sequel to Phantom of the Opera, no, you should not read this. But if, like me, you went through a bizarre Love Never Dies phase as a teenager and you're open to reading an absolute garbage fire of a sequel...this is fun. The audiobook production is actually really good and immersive, so that is the way I would suggest consuming this story because it is not worth the energy it takes to read with your eyeballs.
