The Fabric of our Souls by K.M. Moronova

Did not finish book.
DNF - No rating. This one isn’t working for me. The insta connection between two individuals with mental health struggles might be realistic (I don’t know - it doesn’t feel like it is - but what the hell do I know), but it resulted in me feeling disconnected from their relationship. There really isn’t a back story there, and we get right into the two of them making promises to each other that don’t seem to make sense. In addition, the unorthodox practices at the hospital really felt too far-fetched for me to carry on. Unfortunately, that’s the curse of working in healthcare in real life. I just don’t think I’m the audience for this story, and that’s okay. Other readers will be able to easily look past these things and appreciate the message the author is trying to convey. I know a lot of people that really connected with this book, and I’m genuinely happy for them.
