This was a struggle and honestly I think a lot of it has to do with the amount of perspectives we get. I think from trying to focus on three couples at once, a lot of detail gets lost. I know there’s an overarching plot and they’re going to be dealing with some bad guys but honestly I can barely keep track of it. Plus I’m getting frustrated when everyone is ignoring and confused by Grace wanted to understand more about this world and what her role in it is other than just blindly following the alpha like everyone else. She’s a human in a paranormal world where she was lied to for most of her life about what actually goes on with werewolves and vampires and everything else. Of course she’ll have questions and them refusing to answer them or acknowledge them is starting to really frustrate me. On the other hand though, I’m really enjoying Lizzie’s story and how her mates are working to help her heal from her past. Honestly, if we could have just had one book following her and then another following Grace, I think it might let up on my confusion with details. Not sure what I think about Veronica. I loved when she was first introduced but the whole ending threw me off and makes me confused about some details about this world.
