This book was the first graphic novel I've read (only a couple of years ago, I couldn't imagine myself ever reading one) and I absolutely adored it. I watched the show first, in late spring of 2022, and loved it, so I figured I had to read the books before the second season comes out in 2023. Alice Oseman is sure to be an author I read more of in the near future and her books are certainly on my wishlist of upcoming purchases. Their drawing and writing are beyond incredible, and her portrayal of her characters, their struggles, and their joys made me want to squeal, cry, and laugh with them. Alice does everything so incredibly in this book and I could hardly wish for a better read. This book was adorable and felt like a warm cozy blanket being wrapped around me every time I opened it. I absolutely LOVED this book and would readily recommend it to anyone looking for a heartwarming, wholesome read.
