Contrary to the hype of this book, I felt this was a slow moving book at first. It took about half way in for the story to pick up but when it did I throughly enjoyed it. I  enjoyed the plot twists and the last half quite immensely.

hazing and bullying in the past is central to the plot. It is not in graphic detail but it can be upsetting as one character takes no responsibility and has no remorse for their actions that led to the death of a kind teenager.
