Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman

2.0

I started reading this because a friend had texted me a couple of random passages, which were written in an absolutely lovely fashion.

However, I find that I like the writing much better out of context than in. The "story" tends to come across very stodgy and staid, and the concepts are...unoriginal, at best. I kept on flashing back to when I had to read Campbell in my freshman year of high school; I had figured out all of this already! And it's highly obnoxious to read something filled with thoughts that I'd already realized in my own head.
