Geeta didn't kill her husband, but nobody believes her, which makes her the village pariah....until, that is, the other village wives are ready to kill THEIR husbands. Trapped by her own reputation (and a touch of blackmail) Geeta navigates village gossip, conflicted feelings about her missing husband, and her relationship with her former best friend, all while doing the things that need to be done to free the village women from their unhappy marriages. This is funnier than it has any right to be, and horrible at the same time. It's brilliant.
