The Home-Maker by Dorothy Canfield Fisher

5.0

Excellent examination of how the roles/tasks assigned by society based on gender can result in extensive dysfunction/unhappiness within a family. Maybe the female is better as the breadwinner and the male is better as the home maker. Will society allow this reversal of role expectations? This was written a hundred years ago yet still resonates today. Highly recommend.
