Die Gefangene des Krinar by Anna Zaires, Dima Zales

4.0

Yesss! I was so excited when I heard about this book that I actually preordered it. I never preorder anything, I don't care how much I want to read it, I don't preorder. But I preordered this book because I am a huge fan of the Krinar Chronicles. I'm a sucker for a hot alien and this book did not disappoint. Don't get me started on all that steamy sex, seriously don't.

Emily is in Costa Rica enjoying a break from her life when the unthinkable happens. There's an accident that leaves her clinging to life. When all hope is lost and she accepts death a strange, sexy, man whisks her away to his futuristic house and saves her. Zaron tells her that he is not from the world and now she cannot leave because she knows too much. Will she ever be able to go back to her mundane life, will she even want to leave her savior?

It was difficult to not compare Zaron and Korum. They are so similar in so many ways but different in a lot of ways too. I think Zaron was more intense, especially during sex. Korum, knew Mia was human so was slow in the bedroom, Zaron not so much. He just went at Emily, hard and sometimes it was a bit much. Plus he kept saying "Mine" while they were in the moment and it made me think about the seagulls from Finding Nemo, which isn't sexy. I get that he was possessive, so was Korum but it was just kind of weird.

Even though Zaron was a bit much at times I liked them together. Emily didn't have many people in her life so I was glad when she finally realized she was in love with him. I liked how she made Zaron love again even though after losing his wife he never thought he would again.

After these books, if a sexy alien comes along and tells me to go somewhere I'm going. With their intelligence and strength, what's the use in fighting them? I hope there is more to come in this world because I'm not ready to leave it just yet.
