After We Collided by Anna Todd
2.0
The After series is certainly not one to write home about unless you’re writing to tell how annoying, long, and terribly written it is. I hardly ever say a book is bad, but I can’t not with this one. I read the first completely absorbed and able to get past the terrible relationship and Fifty Shades wannabe writing. With the second I literally yelled out loud multiple times and wanted to throw my phone across the room. Thank goodness I didn’t actually pay to read this.
The characters are contradictory in every thought and action. The book endorsed abusive and toxic relationships. None of the behavior Hardin or even Tessa displays is ok. This was written by a teen that magically made arguments and abuse ok. It’s not. Don’t think the relationship is how love should be.
