This was a short story so not fair to judge it based on typical criteria. As a sampler of the orphan x character, I think it fails to satisfy anyone. Readers of the series will merely recognize someone and a personality they already know. New readers might not get enough to really entice them. Worth trying but since I read the series, I won’t likely try another short story.
