Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God by Francis Chan

3.0

Enjoyable book, with challenges for the way we live as Christians. The focus of the book deals with being a devoted Christ-follower, "obsessed" with loving God, as opposed to being a lukewarm so-called "Christian."

Three of the thought-worthy challenges that stuck with me:
-Would we be satisfied with a heaven with everything good (all our friends and family, peace and joy...) but where Jesus was absent?
-Do we live in such a way that our lives *don't make sense* to unbelievers?
-What would happen if we abandoned the "American Dream" and started a new movement called "Aspiring to the Median" where we intentionally lowered our standard of living to give more generously to others?

The book contained good challenges and explications of various parables, while also not difficult to read.
