I love them! They really brought out the best in eachother to help them learn how to love. The 70% mark had me crying (as most of my faves do).
I alternated between kindle and audiobook, and I do has to say, the audiobook kinda sucked… I found the female narrator almost too formal: she wasn’t using it, but it had the same vibe of that 50s TV performance tone if that makes sense. Also her voice for him made him sound like an elderly black man in a dramatic movie, not a ceo in his 30s. That being said I was mostly able to ignore that.
