Monkey taming, by Judith May Fathallah

Loved loved loved this book.

As a person suffering from an eating disorder, this book was SO on point. It was really relatable without it being triggering. The only reason i did not give is a full five stars was because I felt that the recovery part was a little unrealistic? The way it was written felt more like she recovered overnight rather than it takes an incredible amount of efforts to really eradicate an eating disorder. However, I do understand that this book is more of how the protagonist spiral down to Anorexia and the she submits to the "Monkey."

Great book. Would recommend to people suffering/recovering from ED and people who don't to get a detailed realistic insight on how it is to have an ED (not how the media portrayed it to be)
