This was a lighthearted easy read - and the perfect way to wrap up my book club's picks for the year. If you like slow-burn/friends to lovers/chance encounter tropes, this one is for you. I came for the romance, but mostly stayed and enjoyed the development of female characters through self-trust, self-love, and their support of one another.
A part of me (probably the part of me who's given too much energy to commitment-phobic chronically ghosting men in the past) can't help feeling like Minnie shouldn't have given so much energy to Quinn, but you can read and decide for yourselves. Overall I enjoyed this book, and really appreciate the author's discussion questions and recipes at the back of the book.
