I really enjoyed this one. I don't typically love first person writing style, but in this case it actually worked really well to build the unreliable narrator aspect. The suspense and description of some of the haunting visuals were very strong. I love the concept of this story. But I almost wish there was more blatant horror like I was expecting, but I liked the building tension and spookiness, and I genuinely didn't know how it would play out towards the end.
Graphic: Classism, Confinement, Grief, Murder, Self harm, Forced institutionalization, Injury/Injury detail, Child death, Death of parent, Mental illness, Body horror, and Death
Minor: Suicidal thoughts and Schizophrenia/Psychosis
