Mercy Thompson: Homecoming by David Lawrence, Amelia Woo, Francis Tsai, Patricia Briggs

2.0

I'm not a big fan of graphic novels and Mercy Thompson did nothing to contest that sentiment. I felt the artwork was inconsistent, especially with Mercy herself. One minute she looks like a bodybuilder and the next she looks lithe. I found it quite distracting, I never knew which Mercy was showing up in the next scene. (BTW the lithe Mercy was better drawn, the bodybuilder version seemed deformed at times.) The story itself was somewhat entertaining but not very thorough and at times followed a weird time path (aspects I expect from graphic novels but this felt more extreme). Overall I do not feel it adds to the series in general and I found it very forgettable.
