Die Gefangene des Krinar by Anna Zaires, Dima Zales

5.0

Before I even start raving about how much I loved this book, I have to say how much I love Zaire's work! I've read all of her novels and I have fallen head over heels for all the couple's she has created. Zaron and Emily were no exception. While you don't have to read Mia and Korum's story to love this book, I would HIGHLY recommend it if you enjoy it. :)

Emily is down on her luck. She lost her job, boyfriend, and her savings are depleting. Before losing everything, she booked a trip to Costa Rica and figures she might as well enjoy one last vacation. Things go wrong when she falls off a bridge that should take her life. However, two days later, she wakes up in a futuristic house with the most impossibly beautiful man she's ever seen and no memories of how she got there. He introduces himself as Zaron (who turns out to be from another planet). He explains that he healed her using technology from his planet and that she can't leave until others from his home  arrive on Earth in a little over two weeks. Why are they coming? Do they mean humans harm? How far are their advancements? And how is she going to be held captive by such an attractive man (alien) who looks at her like he's constantly restraining from ripping her clothes off?

Guys, I feel like the way I described the plot is so cheesy, but this book is so freaking far from cheesy! It's sexy, romantic, fun, intriguing, gripping, raw. I could go on and on. If you like possessive, domineering men that have just the right amount of gentle qualities, you're not going to be able to put this book down.

I voluntarily read an ARC. Thank you so much!!
