I don’t know what I was expecting when I picked this book up. Not even sure where it came from—it was just on my kid’s bookshelf. Read it with my almost nine year old son and the ending was kinda intense. Both of us were tearing up at the end. He didn’t like the ending but was engrossed by the story and asked me to keep reading and wants to read the next book with me.
