Did not finish book. Stopped at 54%.

This was trying too hard to be like the In Death series and failing miserably, which is a shame, cos I was really looking forward to enjoying a similar series, with a badass couple, but this was a pale imitation, the love was way too insta, and the policwork was so shoddy, eve def spoiled me, but after seeing her work what Sam was doing here was laughable, and ig the fact that we had a lot of telling instead of showing really didn't help matters either, shame, but it is what it is

I went up to x2.5 and I mightve finished it, but then I started reading other stuff and I just couldn't find it in me to pick this back up
