The Dumb House by John Burnside

Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.
I was expecting the main story to be about raising children in a mute environment. But after reading until the halfway point this has only been a minor part of the story. The rest of the content hasn't gripped me so I am leaving it here. It might be a great book for someone else, just not for me.
