This was a very tense and scary story to read as a mom. It delves into the very needed truth about kidnapping, abuse, sexual assault, and trauma. The reality is not many survive this and in this book the main character is a survivor of kidnapping. What she experienced and witnessed her cousin Dee experience is something no one wants to think about experiencing but it’s a reality we all need to be aware of. This book will stick with me.
