This was the second book I read from the Discworld. I only read Small Gods before and I thought of going chronologically so I can get the easter eggs and references in other later books. I’ve heard the colour of magic is not the strongest entry in the series and I get it since it’s the first but boy oh boy I didn’t think it would be this boring. I simply did not care and I almost dnf-ed it way to many times, I finished it fueled by perseverence alone.
I’m really unsure if I should continue with Rincewind series and hope it gets better or just skip to guards guards as I initially planned
