A compelling and exciting story from start to finish. The intricate and complex world, magic and building drew me in. If you are a fan of magic fantasy, slow burn romance and a strong FMC you can do no wrong with this book, I couldn’t put it down.
I love the FMC she wasn’t perfect but had growth and development she was strong and determined but had fears and weaknesses. The love for her family and securing their freedom shone through.
I can’t wait for the next instalment and what happens with Harken, Zaria and the rest of her family.
My only criticism was at the beginning the world and magic was a little complicated to understand but as you go through the book it all begins to make sense.
