Liars Like Us by J.T. Geissinger

4.0

I recently delved into the first book of Geissinger's Morally Gray series and was completely immersed in the captivating storytelling. This book was so enjoyable! The way J.T. writes their FMC rivals Meghan Quinn for the most witty and sarcastic! I laughed out loud so many times! Geissinger’s skill in creating complex characters with depth, intricate plotlines, and a supporting cast that added layers of intrigue to the story was truly remarkable.

The language used and unexpected plot twists demonstrated Geissinger's mastery of storytelling. The story focuses on the captivating duo of Callum and Emery. Callum's instant fascination with Emery and her articulate dismissal of his advances set the stage for a dynamic interaction filled with palpable chemistry. Emery’s sharp wit and unwavering independence were genuinely amusing and earned my unwavering support. Callum, embodying the ideal romantic partner, effortlessly won over my affection. The narrative left me engrossed and longing for more long after I had finished the book.

The performances in the audiobook were exceptional, as each character was brought to life with unique voices, accents, and emotions, which truly enhanced the overall listening experience.
