LAUREN YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN. I feel completely shattered by this book. it was even better than the first. the tension, the longing, the “hatred”. I cannot believe i have to wait for the final book for an entire year. Kai & Paedyn are my favorite book couple ever honestly. I LOVE the way lauren writes these characters (and writes in general). They’re so complex, strong, and raw when it really comes down to it. & the BANTER!!! i love it every time. The way she creates these bonds and emotions just completely draws you in. This was so packed of adventure and excitement that had me glued to the pages!! I was expecting the ending to turn out the way it did, but that didn’t stop me from still being completely shocked and in turmoil over that decision. what the fuck. why!?!? I NEED to get my hands on that final book immediately.
