Rock Addiction by Nalini Singh

1.0

I love both Nalini Singh's PNR series, so when 'Rock Addiction' was free for Kindle, I thought it was a great opportunity to get into her contemporary romance series.
But, sadly, I was very disappointed with this book. It's not just that it had:
- Cliched characters without depth.
- A lot of sex, not a lot of plot.
- All other characters were more interesting than the main ones.

The worst part was:
- Macho hero whose statements made me want to hurl my Kindle at the wall. Only love for my electronic buddy kept me from doing it. How to know that hero is one of those annoying jerks with vulnerable masculinity?
Exhibit A: "Fox was holding some kind of cinnamon-scented coffee so frothy he could feel his testosterone levels dropping just looking at it."
Exhibit B: "I'm a man. I don't have feelings."

Well, at least the book was free. But I still regret the time spent reading it. :/
