Unfortunately unsatisfying. I thought this was totally average.
It had a few moments that made me squeal from the suspense, but I felt like a loooot of it was pretty boring.
The best part: Lily's backstory chapters
The worst part: All the descriptions of driving!!! I found the names of the roads & which cardinal directions they were going to be confusing & long-winded, as someone who is already from New England but directionally-challenged, lol. I just found a lot of the scenic descriptions in general to be quite boring. :P
Picked this up because I was looking for a thriller I could finish in a single day (My Sister, The Serial Killer is one I recommend) but this one took me 4 days. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't think I'll be picking up the sequel.
