Harvest Moon by Lisa Kessler

4.0

Jason Ayers, the Pack's doctor, has been beating himself up in frustration. Well, getting himself beat up and beating up others in an underground boxing ring. He's full of anger at not being able to cure his own father who's in a coma, and at his inability to save the Pack's previous alpha.

Kalini is a nurse who helped save his father from death, but she doesn't know that Jason and his father are werewolves. She has her own secrets. She's on the run from the Nero Organization for knowing about a murder. Plus, she's a precognitive.

So they're both keeping secrets from each other. But the big secret Jason is hiding is that Kalini is his fated mate. He didn't believe in fated mates until he was gobsmacked with just a touch from Kalini.

But can their relationship grow when they can hardly trust each other? And can Jason keep Kalini safe from the Nero Organization? And how will they ever keep Nero off her back for good?

Lisa Kessler always writes a good read, and HARVEST MOON is no exception. Jason and Kalini were likable characters, and it was good to see the other members of the Pack again. The story had plenty of suspense and intrigue--you and the characters don't know whom to trust!

Enjoy!
