Oh my, here is my Dead of Winter re read review before the finale book release. This book was just as I remember; a rough, emotional reading ride. Middle books always seem to be filler books which try to continue the plot of the story all while continuing to develop all of the important characters. Dead of Winter definitely fulfilled that role and more.
Kresley Cole continues to introduce us to more Arcana characters in human form and we watch as the game continues to play on. Our main characters Evie, Death and Jack continue their crazy relationship. It mainly is consisting of Death and Jack fighting for Evie’s heart. There are also times they need to work together as a team.
This book has a major cliffhanger that leaves you hanging. It has you ready to immediately pick up the next book to find out what happened. Of course now you do not have to wait like years ago!
I really enjoyed Dead of Winter. If was a wonderful continuation of the story and kept you wanting more. It also started the debate of Team Jack vs Team Death. Which are you?
