Many Waters by Madeleine L'Engle

5.0

My favorite Madeleine L'Engle book. There's something so very comforting about the entire world L'Engle builds in this part of the quartet; and for some reason I'm a much bigger fan of her books where extraordinary things happen to somewhat ordinary people, rather than the ones where extraordinary things happen to truly extraordinary people. You know what I mean? Not that Sandy and Dennys really are all that ordinary--what they are is wonderful, brilliant, and the perfect characters for this perfect adventure.
