We catch up with Penny and James on her graduation day. She is trying to get information out of James but he isn’t giving it up. She says she knows how to get him to talk as she traces his happy trail down to the waist line of his pants. But then “surprise” James has thrown a surprise graduation party for Penny and she is mortified as people heard what she said, including her parents!
Penny and James are set to be married now that she has graduated, but Penny can’t stop thinking that James is hiding things from her, can a relationship work when there are so many secrets?
To make things more difficult James’ parents don’t want to meet Penny, they want James to get back with his ex-wife Isabella. But James doesn’t want that.
Penny is trying to get an internship in marketing and James has offered her one at his new company “Hunter Technology” but she doesn’t want people to think that she only got the job because who she is with. She wants to get a job on her own merit, but all the applications she sent out, no one is coming back to her? Has James done something to stop her from working elsewhere?
Melissa has moved to NYC and is staying with Tyler, but at the surprise party they were acting weird around each other. People are suspecting that Tyler and Melissa are sleeping together, but surely they would tell Penny if they were, Penny is meant to be their best friend. Especially as Penny spends every Friday night with Tyler. Thankfully James has gotten over Tyler and Penny sleeping together and has accepted Tyler as a friend.
James and Penny have decided that they don’t want to have bachelor and bachelorette parties. But their friends have other ideas. But do Penny and James trust each other?
With Isabella living in New York isn’t it only a matter of time before she starts poking her nose into Penny and James’ business again?
