This was amazing! I enjoyed reading this so much. I don't like second chances romances , I don't actively look for them but this was really good. For some reason I pictured this book taking place in the early 2000s because that's what it reminded me of lol. I loved the way the past timeline of Kennedy and Jonathan's relationship was told. I thought that was a really unique way of showing the past timeline. It wasn't boring at all which I loved. I loved all of the characters. Their daughter Maddie was so adorable and actually written as a child which was great because some authors write five year olds who talk like they're 45.
I also really liked the second chance aspect in this book. The reason why they broke up was very valid which is another reason why I think I enjoyed reading this so much because the number one reason why I hate second chance romances is because most of the time the reason why the characters broke up in the first place is so stupid. I liked the reconnection between them. Overall this was a really great read and I'd highly recommend.
