I would have loved for the book’s ending to be teased out, for discussions and progress to be seen in the ending chapters but this wasn’t the case. The climax seemed to happen really late in the book, with patchy knowledge of rationales on either side. I think if more focus was given to exploring past memories and the characters personalities I would have enjoyed this more - that said I still devoured it quickly!
