Lance and Scarlet story is kind of heartbreaking. I feel like something was always going against them but they would always come back together. They truly love each other. I absolutely love that Lance falls first and all he wants to do is make sure Scar is being taken care of. I never would have thought Lance could be one of the most caring characters in this group based on the other books but I was pleasantly surprised. But Lance is very possessive, he’s attentive, and he’s persuasive all of which scar needs. JC Hawke did an amazing job writing their story. I can’t wait for my heart to be put back together in book 2!
