Kushiel's Mercy by Jacqueline Carey

While Kushiel's Justice was very much a middle trilogy novel (lots of filler and necessary character development), this one was a completely satisfying and exciting finale. I had a very hard time putting it down - it's been awhile since I got this swept up in an epic adventure story.
