Easy 5 stars! What a brilliant sequel and such a great happy ending for everyone! I thought I knew Henry and I just had to keep reading to understand more and more, as the book went on with truly exquisite twists and turns. Again, this one will keep you turning pages way past your pre-negotiated bed time because these 2 books are just that good!!
Lisa Jewell is a master of crafting a beautifully intricate story through multiple POVs and timelines. I aboslutely loved how Rachel and Lucy's timelines intersected and had the perfect ending.
Oh and Justin!! That just rounded out the story and reminded the reader of how Henry was also a victim in all this, dealing with childhood trauma. I hope he actually ends up getting the help he needs. He deserves to be okay.
I read this one straight after 'The Family Upstairs' and I just loved this duology so much. Highly recommend!
