The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

3.0

2.5, rounded up. Hunger Games prequel that follows Coriolanus Snow during the 10th Games. I felt this book had pacing problems & should’ve been 150 pages shorter. However, it was interesting to learn more history/lore from Panem. Collins, as always, weaves symbolism throughout her novels and really makes you think. I was also torn finding myself rooting for Snow and Lucy Gray even though, as this is a prequel, I know how their story would end.
