Recollections of My Nonexistence: A Memoir by Rebecca Solnit

Thank you to Rebecca Solnit, Viking, and NetGalley for an ARC. I received the ARC nearly 5 years ago. I apologize for the delay in my review.
However, I am thankful that I have read this memoir now. There are things in it I do not think I would have picked up five years ago. I will read it again.
This book is gorgeous, which feels odd to say when it contains the topics it discusses.
This is a book that when I am asked about craft books, I will say aside from craft books, every writer should read this memoir. I learned more about writing in this book than the entire, same length writing craft book I read last and several others, for that matter.
I read this book in 2 days, which is as fast as I've read any book in the past few years. It isn't an easy read, but it is an important and beautiful read.
