I had high hopes for this but it never quite felt right for me. I didn’t necessarily buy the chemistry between Adam and Cam, even though I really wanted to.

The persistent threat of something happening the whole book despite no evidence of anything felt a little weird. I was disappointed that, when something finally did happen, it felt shoehorned into the last 6% of the book. I think the story could have been the same without some nefarious reason he needed to move.

There were a few errors in the ebook, and a few passages where the author repeated the same thing (or something contradictory) only a few lines apart. “I couldn’t say no” and then a few lines down “I could have said no,” for example. Since it is a paid ebook currently and not KU or free release, I would expect a bit more editing and proofreading, which rounded my 3.5 down to a 3.
