Another good addition to the Elemental Mysteries and World series. At first, I wasn't sure if I cared enough about Baojia to read a book devoted to him. But I was wrong. I really liked it and I really liked the addition of Natalie. She was definitely a breath of fresh air. And of course, there is no down side into getting further glimpses into the beloved characters of past books.

I really like this series and this author. I'll probably go on to read her cambria springs series as well.

If you like paranormal mystery/romance, then you will like this. Although all of EH's books do involve a romance of some sort, they aren't generally the main point or progressor (is that even a word? lol) of the story. It's the mystery around them that fulfills that function. The romances are just an added bonus of sorts. And one thing I like is that her characters never jump straight into bed. And the sex scenes are never overly detailed. You get just enough to get the picture and then she moves on.

Once again. A great addition to the series. I recommend it.
